All domains must be at least 60-days old. Domains that are not yet 60-days old are not transferable between registrars. This is a registry restriction, not a regulation instituted by Media Easier Ltd.

In order to transfer a “.co.uk” domain name away from Media Easier Ltd, the domain’s TAG needs to be changed. This is a two step process that evolves firstly contacting your new domain registrar and asking them to “initiate” the process, they will contact us and ask us to change the TAG. Once we change the TAG please allow one day to transfer, but note it can take up to 7 days.

1. You should contact your NEW domain registrar and ask them to “initiate” the transfer of your DomainName.co.uk.
2. As soon as we receive this request from your new registrar we will change the domain TAG.

  Note. As soon as we change the domain TAG, your new registrar is responsible any future correspondence including billing.

Global domain names (gTLDs) such as .com, .net and .org can be transferred to new domain name registrars, but the procedure is more complicated than for other domain names and can take several days to complete. This procedure is not ours, it is that of the domain registration authorities.

To transfer your domain name to a new domain name registrar, please follow these procedures:

1. Check that your new domain name registrar will allow inbound domain transfers, and check any fees you may need to pay them.
2. Ask your new domain registrar to request transfer of your domain name and pay any fees due to them.
3. Within a day or two, we will receive a request to release your domain name and (subject to the necessary proof of authority and administration fees) will confirm release.
4. Your domain name will then be transferred to your new domain registrar.

Please note that you must follow this procedure carefully or your domain name transfer will not be authorised or may not succeed. You must also be patient - this procedure can take up to 7 days to complete.
