Founded by a marketing manager from Apollo Computer Inc back in 1988 Avid instantly became the industry standard Non-Linear editing system which is, today used world wide.
In today's market Avid offers a wide range of hardware and software products, many of which we have used almost daily since the mid nineties. Initially back in 1995 whilst working for MTV we edited a number of offline projects such as 'Stylisimo' & 'MTV News' using MTV's in-house Apple based stand alone Composer's.
 Since then we have used Symphony's, Media Composers DS's and even NewsCutter and Xpress systems for hundreds of projects from short form offline promos right to entire long form documentaries offlining then onlining, grading and compositing on Symphony and DS.
